Files

Allows you to access the files underneath an item.

Full file system support for downloading and uploading large amounts of data is only supported on the desktop app.

There is a traffic light system indicating if the file exists locally or not.

  • Downstream (orange): Indicates that the server file is larger, and the server version prevails. This status signifies that the server version of the file is considered authoritative. ⬇️
  • Local (blue): Indicates that the file is missing on the server. This status suggests that the file is not present on the server. 📂
  • Remote (red): Indicates that the file is missing on your local drive. This status suggests that the file is not present locally. ☁️
  • Synchronized (green): Indicates that the item has been processed in the synchronization process. This status suggests that the synchronization operation related to this item is completed. ✅
  • Upstream (lightBlue): Indicates that the local file is larger, and the local version prevails. This status signifies that the local version of the file is considered authoritative. ⬆️
  • Mixed (purple): Indicates that there is a mix of statuses. This status signifies that there are conflicting versions of the file. 🔀

  1. Go to entities or publishes: Click on any item. Or go directly to the files page.

  2. Click the files tab:

  1. Right click to bring up the context menu: you can then sync files or open the files using the default desktop application for that file type.
